How to properly export CGM's from Isodraw
Hi
I keep encountering a problem with CGM exports from Isodraw.
I need to keep the positive cross hatchings when exporting to CGM, but sometimes it shows up black (See bottom picture)

Why does the left figure show up hatched but the right shape comes out all black?
After reopening the cgm in IsoDraw, it looks like the hatching had been corverted to a bunch of lines on the left, but the right (black shape) was not.

How do I make them both like the left side?
Nothing I've tried to the right figure changes the outcome so far: (Coverting to polyline, converting to elements, adding handles, etc)
Any guidance is appreciated!

How do I remove the artboard from SVG export.
Regardless of the settings in the SVG export preferences the file for the svg export keeps the artboard. Putting the XML content through a transform causes the graphics to occupy an entire page. I have even attempted to make the artboard the size of the graphic. I still see an artboard in the export that far exceeds the borders of the graphic.

Stylesheet error: "Prefix 'child' not declared"
A user reported an issue when trying to insert a graphic using a FIG tag. The exact scenario is shown here. The user has inserted a graphic using FIG and TITLE. Our Fig element logic looks for: if fig in procinfo, else if fig in li, else fig everywhere else.
I also included what I believe is the result of that logic, the specific XPATH language in use for this situation, "Fig Everywhere Else". The error does not seem to actually affect anything since the user can still create the topic, use in publication structures, etc, but we are worried that it may be a bigger issue down the road. I am relatively new to Styler, and I am not sure what to even check for to start debugging this issue. Help!
The actual error reads:
Cannot evaluate XPath expression in stylesheet [A30282] Invalid XPath expression: The prefix 'child' is not declared. Element: fig: Xpath expression: (not(Child:title/text()))

Running AE 7.0 from a command line will not allow ActiveX controls to operate properly
In windows 7, if I open AE 7.0 by double-clicking the editor.exe file directly from it's directory (I am using the x64 version) I can then open the Help->About PTC Arbortext Editor menu item without issue.
If, instead, I open a command window (cmd.exe) and then open the AE 7.0 application (editor.exe) from that window the Help->About PTC Arbortext Editor menu item will show an error. It is due to the use of an ActiveX component to fill the text space on the panel.
Is there any way to open AE from a command window so ActiveX error will not occur? I need this method of activation when setting up my customer.

How to delete close button 'X' in the menu dialog ?
Hello all,
I am new to PTC Community i just started to configuration of Arbortext Editor with small tasks.
The menu_delete function is perfectly working for me on some cases but there is one more thing that i should disable also in Arbortext 6.1 Editor dialog.
How should i delete the 'X' menu item on ArborText editor, what is the menu item name of this item ?
Could you please tell me ? I couldn't find it on the reference somehow, maybe not get in deep...

Can I change the resolution / accuracy of Isodraw numbers?
I'm trying to write a macro that rounds numbers. The code asks users for a number, and the macro rounds to 2 after the decimal place. First of all, I'd like to know if Isodraw has a built in round function. That would save me some time. I searched the 7.2 IML Reference (even though I'm using 7.3 because I can't seem to get access to 7.3 IML) and there didn't seem to be a built in round function. Nonetheless I proceeded to write a rounding submacro which takes a user input for a number and rounds the 2nd digit after the decimal. However I noticed that my numbers were often altered after I input them. And so I used this text macro to test it:
macro numtest
define number as float
define numasstring as string
number = get float "Number"
numasstring = number
message numasstring
end macro
When I input 8.591, I get 8.59.
Similarly,
8.592 --> 8.592
8.593 --> 8.593
8.594 --> 8.593
8.595 --> 8.595
8.596 --> 8.596
8.597 --> 8.596
8.598 --> 8.598
8.599 --> 8.599
8.600 --> 8.599
It seems like the resolution of Isodraw's numbers are set somewhere. Why does Isodraw do this, and how can I change the resolution / accuracy of the numbers?

Access help topics without Arbortext Editor
I am attempting to access the help topics that a user might normally get via the Arbortext Editor (AE) command line however that is not possible for me; I am behind a firewall so "on-line" help is not available.
I am trying to upgrade to AE 7.0 and need to track down some of the error messages I am getting.
Is there a way to access the help topics on the web from this site or another location without having AE installed. I cannot use a copy outside my firewall.

how to store data in a file using ACL

Can any one please help on how to store values in an external file using ACL, I have developed a dialog box window which contains combo box,drop down list, check boxes and other list variable and I want to store the assigned values to some file so that I can get and set same values when I load the document.

Sorry. You might have better luck if you save the SVG as an external
